Back to status

A quick check for your agent.

The same answer you see here, with the evidence behind it. Public, read-only, and no account required.

Connect with MCP

Add this Streamable HTTP endpoint to your agent’s MCP connections:

https://isgithubactionsdown.com/mcp

The get_github_actions_status tool takes no arguments. It returns the answer, freshness, check time, active incidents, and visitor signal.

For Claude Code:

claude mcp add --transport http github-actions-status https://isgithubactionsdown.com/mcp

For Claude on the web or desktop, add the endpoint as a custom connector. No authentication is needed.

Install the OpenMerchant plugin

The plugin includes the MCP connection and a skill for interpreting the answer when troubleshooting Actions.

/plugin marketplace add openmerchants/openmerchant-plugins
/plugin install is-github-actions-down@openmerchant

See the OpenMerchant plugin marketplace for installation details.

Use the JSON API

curl https://isgithubactionsdown.com/api/status

Read answer together with freshness and checkedAt. A stale result is the last known answer. A null answer means we have no verified observation.

Probably can mean unusual interest alone. It does not confirm a GitHub outage, and a healthy platform does not prove an individual workflow is healthy.

Polling once every 30 seconds is sufficient. API and MCP calls never count toward the visitor signal.
